Started in 2020 in a back garden in Loughborough (photo below), we are now based just outside Melton Mowbray. Everything we advertise for sale has been propagated on site by ourselves, with the exception of a few varieties subject to Plant Breeders’ Rights.
We are gradually moving away from flowering shrubs and ornamentals, focusing instead on evergreen hedging and screening trees. Producing everything on site is a slow process — some plants propagated this year (2025) will not be ready for sale until at least 2030.
We have recently switched to drip irrigation for our larger shrubs and trees. Although the system involved significant cost and labour to install, it is far more efficient in the long term than overhead or hand watering. It also allows liquid fertiliser to be applied much faster and more accurately than granular feeds.
At the moment, our nursery isn’t open to visitors, but we’re always happy to help via email. We aim to reply quickly, and we can provide up to date photographs so you can see exactly what’s available.
